I created a library of illustrations and design for Amenable, a small branding/marketing agency. In summer 2023 the company rebranded completely (previously Anna Montgomery & Co.) I assisted in establishing Amenable’s visual style with custom illustration. These illustrations have been used in the website design, social media posts and assets, client postcards, and brand merchandise.

I animated some of my illustrations to give Amenable’s social media an elevated look.

I made postcards for client gratitude and recruitment purposes.

THOUGHT ILLUSTRATIONS

My illustrations were consistently used for Amenable’s thought posts. These were thought-pieces written by team members on different topics like creativity, writing advice, brand management and communications. Each thought-piece included a related illustration. These were posted consistently during my time at Amenable.

DESIGN INSPIRATION POST

This week I was inspired by satin bowerbirds. They are these birds that create their nests out of blue objects, anything from flower petals and insects to bottle caps and Altoids tins. Bowerbirds meticulously build these nests as an act of love. The result is a beautiful blue nest to make a home in.

So this morning I decided to become a bowerbird. I collected every blue thing I could find: pens and markers, matchbooks, records, books, denim, mugs, and painters tape. I brought them together to create Amenable’s beloved ampersand. Since our brand focuses on the color blue, I felt like this was a really fun intersection of ideas.
